Our Lady of Fatima Christmas Program

The girls had their School Christmas Program at our church last night. It was very nice and they did a good job. They were both super excited about it and had fun singing. Emilie sang 'Go tell it on the mountains'. She rehearsed the song over and over at the house when I found her a CD with the song. And Claire "Happy Birthday Baby Jesus / Give Glory to God". At the end of the program all the kids came back to sing 'Silent Night'. They both LOVE to sing, listen to music and put on little shows for us.

Emilie is the first on the left on the bottom row.

Claire is in the middle, she climbs up and down, dances and puts her hands over one of her little friend...

The girls each got a rose from Mike after the performance :-)

Wedding in New Orleans

We were honored to be invited to attend Mike's DO's (Director of Operations or VP if you want) wedding in New Orleans on Friday evening. We got the girls from the school and drove to NO (about 1h30). We had booked a room so we would be able to enjoy the wedding without having to drive home that night. The ceremony was in the courtyard of a restaurant where we then had a wonderful meal. It was a lot of fun. The girls enjoyed playing with Danika, the bride Cara's daughter and her little friend from California. We even got to dance in the streets of New Orleans escorted by a cop in motorcycle ! We spent the night in a hotel right accross the street.

The next day, Mike had to leave because he was working that weekend. I took the girls to the New Orleans aquarium instead of the zoo since it was raining. Then we headed home after a little detour via Whole Foods. It was a great little getaway!
