It has been a long time since I posted anything. So here is a little recap of the Callender's life.
In September, Yannick, Anne's cousin, came to visit us for a few days. We had a very good time with him. We took him to New Orleans for one day where we had a wonderful lunch and even tasted some alligator.
I also took the girls to the Children's Museum with our neighbors.
October was a busy month, we took the girls to the Corn Maze. Our Lady of Fatima had their annual Halloween Carnival where the girls had a blast. Emilie and Claire had a first encounter with skates. Claire had 2 field trips: one to the pumpkin patch and one to the Children's museum to see a Dora and Diego show. And then at the end of the month, we celebrated Halloween in the neighborhood.
The girls are doing great. Emilie has excellent grades in school and is improving more and more. She loves to read and is getting very good at it, she is very good in mathematics and spelling. She loves crafts. Claire, our little performer, is learning to write, still loves to draw and color and sing. She also loves to play board games.
