Busy 4th July week...

(click on the pictures to see a larger version - videos will be added soon so check back later )

This week was the girls' last week at the Montessori School for the Arts. They just finished a 4 weeks summer camp and are now home till mid-August for Emilie and beginning of September for Claire.

Mike's brother, John, drove down from PA on Wednesday with 2 of his kids, Brett and Mason, and his wife Marife. We took them to the beach, the Air Force Armament Museum, had s'mores one night, there was some wrestling action going on... The girls loved it!

The girls finished their swimming lessons and did awesome. We may sign them up again for one more session next week.

On the 4th July, we went out for breakfast and then we met the Ready family on base for a BBQ and to watch the fireworks. The Less joined us there. The girls ended up watching the fireworks from their boat while the guys were smoking cigars by the camper. It was a lot of fun!

John left on Saturday morning and we invited the Hubert family for dinner in the afternoon. We were stationed with them in OH. The kids, especially Emilie and Gunnar had playdates together. Reese and Claire were just babies at the time. It was really good to see them again!

So today, we are just spending a quiet, relaxing day at home.

What a wonderful time. The boys and Marife slept in the car during the drive back. The girls have grown up so much. The funniest event of the trip was the haircut of Brett and Marife, and how could one forget the Tea Party (with matching tea leaves.
